What is your affiliation? I am ordained through ULC (Universal Life Church) and have no specific affiliation, I am open to religious and secular ceremonies How long have you been doing this? I have been in the wedding industry for 13 years What is your process? For custom ceremonies, I meet with my couples a month or two before the wedding for a questionnaire meeting. It helps me get to know you and get more specific about what you would like in your ceremony. From there I create options for each section of the ceremony. You choose what you like and I put it together for your approval! What are "sections" of the ceremony? A ceremony typically follows this order:
Words from the minister (which is me telling your story and talking about love and marriage),
Readings if you choose ( I have religious and non-religious readings I can offer)
vows if you choose (you can write them, I can help you write them or I can write them for you)
Declaration of intent (I dos),
Any special declarations (IE; sand ceremony, unity candle, hand fasting, etc..) This is optional!
What do you wear? Usually a black suit, but if you have something else in mind, I am open to a wardrobe change in keeping with the theme of your wedding if you have one. Will you be at rehearsal? Custom ceremonies are generally around 20 minutes, "Quickies" or elopements are 5-10 minutes Do you file the marriage license? Yes! What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, check, money order, Pay Pal (with additional fee) or Zelle (no fee!) What is your booking process?
